How long does it take for a person to become a SLOcal? I’ve been in here in beautiful San Luis Obispo for almost three years, and I felt fully integrated, UNTIL I realized that I hadn’t visited the majority of restaurants in the downtown area. A few days ago, I was walking downtown, and I really opened my eyes to see, and I (loosely) counted 101 places to eat at. One hundred and one, in the downtown area, whaaaaaa? I am totally a creature of habit and have established my favorite haunts, but now I feel a little…. embarrassed. Time to get intimate SLO. I wanna know you.

Goal One: Eat at every place downtown.

Goal Two: Try a different item every time when I repeat locations.

Goal Three: Blog about it every time.

Massive undertaking of dining out, and I’m so excited. (Do the carb dance!)
